The white wall begins its slide. Perspective stays tight on the skier's shoulder, snow spray filling the lower frame while the collapsing ridge dominates above. Trees appear and vanish in peripheral blur. The slide catches up, not gradually but all at once, and the skier drops into a gully, momentum carrying them beneath a natural ice bridge as megatons of white pour over the top.
